Optopol TechnologS.A. is the producer of innovative diagnostics equipment for ophthalmology. We are designing, constructing and producing specialist medical equipment for ophthalmology including Spectral OCT, Perimeters and corneal topographers. The company was established in January 1992 as a production-trade company.

Optopol Technology S.A. offers the whole range of high quality devices based on the modern technology of digital imaging the picture, which let us precisely diagnose the anterior as well as posterior parts of the eye. The world’s ophthalmology market is developing to unify medical procedures which let us forecast some of the market’s preferences in the specified countries

Due to the growing use of advanced technologies of eye imaging, spectral tomography is becoming the future of world’s ophthalmology for coming years. Moreover continuous technological development in lasers, optical fibre and superfast optical video cameras allow regular improvement and development of this method.

Optopol cooperates with the group of scientists from Medical Physics Department of Nicolas Copernicus University in Torun directed by prof Andrzej Kowalczyk (Chairman of Supervisory Board) and dr Maciej Wojtkowski, who received the EURYI (European Young Investigator Award) in 2007. This Prize is  a prestige award granted for researchers to develop their scientific work and to carry out their projects. The awarded  project concerns working on new research methods based on optical tomography in combination with fluorescent microscopy.
