Software upgrade to SOCT Copernicus - 2015-02-18

We would like to inform that on 17th February 2015 company OPTOPOL Technology Sp. z o.o. introduced the new software version 5.0 to OCT Copernicus. The main functionalities are:

  • the analysis of ganglion cell layers. The analysis can be done in two independent ways i.e. RNFL + GCL + IPL or GCL + IPL. The comprehensive analysis makes easier glaucoma diagnosis at its early stages.
  • the results are statistically analysed in the reference to normative database and asymmetry is analysed between particular eyes and hemispheres of the eyes.
  • follow up analysis allows to trace subtle changes in ganglion cell layer for precise tracking of glaucoma progress.
  • there were enhanced layers detection algorithms. As a result the new possibilities are available e.g. outer retinal thickness map and inner retinal thickness map.
  • improved retina analysis tab makes easier finding particular eye abnormalities.
